Dream Big, My Child

Our godly desires come straight from Papa God’s heart to our heart. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that Papa God has a plan for each of us. It is not just any old plan but a specific plan for our life; big plans- plans to make us successful, to bring us hope and a future. Psalm 139:16 says that ALL the days ordained for us were written in His book before one of them came to be. Papa does not give us a dream or desire to just allow it to fall to the wayside. He promises good things and through those good things He will be glorified. (2 Thessalonians 1:11-12) His timing is everything, so stay focused on Him. Listen to His voice and allow yourself to dream big. Ephesians 3:20 says that Papa God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or even imagine. When we delight ourselves in the Lord; He will give us the desires of our heart. (Psalms 37:4) Psalms 37 goes on to tell us to “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him." When we lay our desires down and seek Him, He promises to fulfill our desires. During the wait time, allow Him to equip you for that desire. Ask Him to show you a glimpse of His plan for that desire. Philippians 4:13 teaches us that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 1:6 reassures us that “He that began a good work will be faithful to complete it." So dream big, and do not allow a limit to be placed on that dream. We serve a limitless God who can do all things beyond our imagination. When we allow God to have control over our desires, our desires grow, flourish, and bear much fruit. When we share our desires, it encourages others and glorifies God.
